It can be isolating to be LGBTQ+ in South Carolina, but here at the Harriet Hancock Center we provide you with a safe and welcoming space for South Carolina’s LGBTQ+ community and its allies. We strive to create a space for to be yourself, receive social support from those who understand your experiences, and a way to keep up with LGBTQ+ culture in the Midlands. As a community center, our main offerings are support & social groups, educational material, and a directory of community resources.
