edited by Notdog1996. Stop changing it to legal. The current law is used to persecute LGBT people, so putting it at legal is misleading.

- Newer law has been passed "5-6 months imprisonment as of June 2021. originally was supposed to be criminalized after gaining independence in 1932."

Homosexuality is legal in Iraq, but is considered to be "de facto" repressed. Age of consent is also equal and set at 18 years."
