| Description | There isn’t a law that protects lgbt people of hate crimes in the same way as in England however significant progress has been made recently. LGBT people are protected from employment and housing discrimination in accordance to the Prevention of Discrimination (Guernsey) Ordinance, 2022 and they are protected by The Prevention of Harassment (Guernsey) Ordinance, 2005. However offensive hateful behaviour in Guernsey only is completely and outright illegal if it is racially motivated, The Racial Hatred (Bailiwick of Guernsey) 2005 |
