Alternative CI is an Ivorian non-profit NGO fighting against STIs and HIV and against discrimination against LGBTQ+ + populations.

Alternative Côte d'Ivoire works for an HIV-free Côte d'Ivoire. A Côte d'Ivoire in which human rights are respected, including those related to health, gender, and sexual orientation. Inclusion and solidarity are essential values ​​for us. We also advocate for good, fair, and equitable governance.

Even though homosexuality has been decriminalised, discrimination persists, and political action to address it and grant more rights to LGBTQ+ people is still lacking.
