- Status is not correct "The Supreme Court voided Section 377 stating that Section 377 violated Article 15 of Indian Constitution by interpreting "Sex" in Article 15 to include "Sexual Orientation." In essence, the State cannot discriminate based on Sexual orientation. There has been no anti-discrimination law passed to prohibit discrimination based on Sexual Orientation. "
