- Newer law has been passed "Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities has answered a common question of Conversion Therapy in Slovenia - all activities related to children / minors, the state must ensure the best interests of children and ensure the right to preserve also sexual orientation. It also encurages Slovenian citizens with Article 6 of the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act, which states that everyone, both professionals and citizens, is obliged to immediately inform the center for social work, the police or the public prosecutor's office when they suspect that the victim of violence is a child or a person who is unable to take care of himself due to personal circumstances."
