Reports (3)
- Newer law has been passed "you can donate if you haven’t had sexual intercourse with a man in 3 months "
- Status is not correct "Tennessee follows the FDA’s 12-month deferral policy for men who have sex with men (MSM), meaning MSM donors must wait at least 12 months after their last sexual contact with a man before donating. There is no ban on all LGBTQ blood donors, only a deferral for 12 months for MSM donors. This was confirmed by Dr. Jesse M. Ehrenfeld, MD, MPH, director of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Program for LGBTI Health."
- Status is not correct "In a lesbian marriage we are legal to donate"
