- All information is correct, just adding sources "It is legal for all genders and sexual orientations to donate blood, unless it’s a Muslim patient in need then by the Muslim law it requires it to be a Muslim that donated the blood under the 60 day cleanse period from all sexual acts banned by Islam. Regardless, with explicit permission and full knowledge of the Muslim or not patient does have the choice. If he or she is incapable of doing so, the best decision will be taken by the head of the hospital, clinic and so on."
