Description | In December of 2024, Lithuania's Constitutional Court struck down the anti-LGBT provisions of the Law of the Protection of Minors. They cited Article 25, and Article 38 of the Constitution which guarantee freedom of speech, and define family as "the foundation of society and the state" and that the state protects and cares for the family, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood," respectively. |
