- Status is not correct "Transgender people in Albania do not have any access to gender affirming care in the country whether that be Hormonal Replacement Therapy or Gender Reassignment Surgery. The source provided only concerns sterilisation of individuals, which in the source itself is stated as "unclear" (regarding sterilisation of individuals due to personal wishes, not HRT for Transgender individuals). The claim that it is restricted for minors has no base at all it isn't even mentioned in the provided source.
Currently transfender people cannot access required care in Albania. A law is being discussed to change this, initiated by multiple LGBTQ+ organisations in the country, however it has not even been written yet, only been discussed with the Ministry of Health."
