  • Status is not correct "GS14-27.30. states the age of consent as 16. With sexual intercourse being defined in GS14-27.20.4 including anal intercourse as a sexual act."
  • Status is not correct "The Statute reads: "14-27.7. Intercourse and sexual offenses with certain victims; consent no defense. (a) If a defendant who has assumed the position of a parent in the home of a minor victim engages in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act..." I feel that the term "sexual act" would almost certainly encompass anal sex, thus making the age of consent equal."
