In 2018, PRRI conducted a survey of 54,357 Americans in all 50 states. The survey included a variety of topics, including same-sex marriage and discrimination protections. The percentage of negative and "refused" responses were not included.

Question: "Do you strongly favor, favor, oppose or strongly oppose laws that would protect gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people against discrimination in jobs, public accommodations, and housing?"
