From 1990 to 1994, the World Values Survey surveyed thousands of individuals in many countries about various topics. In this question, respondents were asked: "Please tell me for each of the following actions whether you think it can always be justified, never be justified, or something in between?" and were able to rate how justifiable they believe homosexuality is on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being "never justifiable" and 10 being "always justifiable"). Equaldex categorized a response of 1-3 as "not justifiable" and 8-10 as "justifiable." Respondents who selected 4-7 and those that did not answer are omitted from Equaldex's visualization of this data.
